We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, contracts, and financial performance throughout the construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
- Evaluate contractor quotations and assist with procurement processes.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Measure and value completed works for interim and final payments.
- Prepare variation orders, claims, and cost reports.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and quantities.
- Support project teams with commercial and financial advice.
- Prepare final accounts and project close-out documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
