Job description
We are very excited to announce that we are looking for a experienced and vibrant Quantity Surveyor (BSc QS or BTech QS). The ideal candidate should have experience in the building repairs and maintenance industry with at least 7 years' experience.
Responsibilities
- Measure existing buildings to prepare accurate BoQs for maintenance projects
- Prepare and issue various building reports, cost estimates and tender reports
- Run entire tender process including meetings with all project stakeholders
- Manage projects as the Principal Agent in the JBCC contracts
- Be lekker
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or BTech in Quantity Surveying
- PrQS registration not required but will be to your advantage
- SACPCMP registration not required but will be to your advantage
- Knowledge of typical building defects
- Knowledge of JBCC contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interview process

Step 3 – Successful candidates will be invited for a 2 round interview process during which technical questions will be asked to test the understanding of the building repairs and maintenance and BoQ preparation will be tested.
