Minimum requirements:
Matric
Valid Drivers license
Background in a manufacturing industry
Responsibilities:
Inspection of cut, bent, welded, cleaned and fabricated sheet metal parts, and goods received against drawings (where relevant) from suppliers to ensure dimensions are within specification.
Check the identification & traceability status of parts with physical jobs
All non-conformances must be documented and discussed with interested parties
Daily logging of inspection results
Final product inspections on completed parts and/or products. (Cosmetics, Functionality, Packaging, Labels, Serial numbers), and ensure relevant testing and checklists are completed.
Ensure job cards/ packs are signed off as Quality Inspector.
Enforce all Quality procedures and instructions throughout the company as per the quality system and goals
Inspections of goods received and relevant action (Release to Stores/SRTs/Problem reports)
Flexibility of inspections – interdepartmental assistance as required
