A well established manufacturing concern is seeking a Quality Foreman with a relevant Qualification and Experience.
An Automotive background is ideal!
Ability to work under pressure in a Tough environment – 2 Shift Systems.
Educational & Training Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent with core maths
- A certificate/diploma in quality management or similar management is essential
- Must be computer literate
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Working knowledge of the following (a certificate would be advantageous): ISO 9001:2015; IATF 16949; SPC;
Problem Solving;
Auditing
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer Quality Management System
- Continuously provide relevant information to subordinates, superiors and peers in an accurate and understandable manner
- Conduct product and process audits
- Complete all audit reports correctly and efficiently
- Provide training and advice to inspectors and operators with regard to quality control
- Ensure implementation of Statistical Process Control and effective self-inspection system
- Establish and maintain material review board with regard to scrap, rework and warranty claims
- Conduct regular performance evaluations
- Ensure time and resource allocation among staff in accordance with the development plan
- Empower and continuously motivate team
- Create an environment which encourages team development and maintains trust and honesty
- Enforce SHE system with subordinates
