SUMMARY:
QUALITY FOOD & SAFETY COORDINATOR
POSITION INFO:
A leading company in the FMCG and milling industry is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Food & Safety Coordinator to support and maintain high food safety and quality standards across operations.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional with strong compliance knowledge and a passion for continuous improvement within a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate compliance with HACCP, PRP, and ISO 22000:2018 standards
- Lead food safety awareness talks and quality interventions
- Implement and monitor GMP and PRP programs
- Review CCP monitoring and verification records
- Report on inspection, measuring, and testing equipment results
- Support continuous improvement in food safety systems and processes
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ FMCG experience focused on food safety
- Understanding of ISO 22000, ISO 22002, HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Advantageous:
- Grain milling industry experience
- B.Sc or National Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science
