SUMMARY:
An innovative, project-driven technology company operating at the forefront of advanced electronic and engineered systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen its quality function.

Role Overview
You will take ownership of the quality management system and drive a culture of continuous improvement across engineering, production, and project teams. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong experience in regulated, high-reliability industries, capable of ensuring compliance while enabling efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (ISO, industry-specific, customer requirements)
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Oversee quality assurance processes across the full product lifecycle
- Manage non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work closely with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure quality alignment
- Lead and develop the quality team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or senior quality professional in a high-tech or engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar)
- Experience in regulated industries such as defence, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to lead audits and engage with external stakeholders
- Experience working in environments similar to Hensoldt or comparable organisations is highly advantageous
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
Preferred
- Background in electronics, engineering, or manufacturing environments
- Experience with supplier quality and supply chain quality processes
- Familiarity with defence or aerospace standards and compliance requirements
- Experience implementing or improving QMS systems in growing organisations
