The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
- Managing Quality monitors by adhering to company HR policies.
- Management of Quality Monitoring team job performance aligned to legal, FSSC 22000 and customer Requirements.
- Review and verify completed records contents.
- Plan and execute activities necessary to maintain the efficiency of the OMS.
- Compliance to sampling plans.
- Conducting subject specific training.
- Calibration of Quality Monitors.
- Competency evaluation of Quality Controllers.
- Continued interaction and communication with all senior management.
- Verify Corrective actions implemented in processing areas.
- Maintaining and implementing 20 keys principles including Health & Safety of the department.
- Adhering to Astral’s ethics policy.
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
- A Matric Certificate / Equivalent.
- Relevant post matric qualification.
- Poultry Meat Inspection Qualification.
- 5 years’ experience in a Food production environment.
- Must be prepared to work shifts.
- Good supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure.
- Manage staff professionally and lead by example.
