Role Description The QA/QC Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in 10th of Ramadan, responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities across the production process. This role monitors raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet internal standards, food safety regulations, and customer requirements. The QA/QC Manager develops, implements, and updates quality policies, procedures, and inspection protocols, and leads routine inspections, audits, and testing programs. This position manages the QA/QC team, provides training on quality and hygiene standards, and collaborates closely with production, maintenance, and procurement to resolve nonconformities and prevent recurrence. The role also prepares quality reports, analyzes trends, recommends corrective and preventive actions, and supports certification, regulatory, and customer audits.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in quality management systems, food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP), and regulatory compliance within food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong skills in inspection, testing, sampling, and documentation, including the ability to interpret lab results and production data to drive quality improvements.
- Experience leading and developing QA/QC teams, with strengths in coaching, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as CAPA, 5 Whys, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to present quality findings and recommendations clearly to various stakeholders.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a food production facility; experience in noodles, pasta, or similar products is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in 10th of Ramadan, with flexibility to support production schedules when needed.
