Role Description

Location: Cairo (Hybrid)

Vantage Communications is looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead client accounts at the highest delivery and execution standards.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic planning and proposal development: for clients and prospective clients, demonstrating thorough market and industry understanding, and ability to build joint stakeholder initiatives and develop targeted media strategies. This includes obtaining relevant budget estimates and the ability to create visually appealing content.

Campaign Leadership: Design and execute PR campaigns from start to finish, including thorough communications plans, overseeing media outreach, guiding and reviewing content creation, event planning and influencer partnerships.

Client management: Act as the go-to contact for clients and translating their vision into actionable plans. This spans responding to and ensuring the timely delivery of requests in coordination with internal teams, proactively suggesting initiatives, providing updates, managing budgets, and developing comprehensive activity reports.

Media strategy and events: Mastering the media landscape, traditional and social, to guide media outreach. Plan and oversee the implementation of media events such as press conferences, media roundtables, etc. Proactively identify opportunities and work with the media team to pitch stories.

Content development and review: Developing client proposals, supporting internal comms, preparing briefs for editors and reviewing all content in English and Arabic, guiding editors on required changes and taking responsibility of delivering excellent content. This includes but is not restricted to press releases, speeches, interview Q&As, social media captions, LinkedIn posts, etc.

Influencer mapping and engagement: A solid knowledge of the influencer landscape, and ability to reach out to and manage influencers. Identifying the most relevant influencers to collaborate with on client campaigns, and manage the collaboration from A-Z.

Performance tracking: Measure success through media coverage, audience reach, and client KPIs, delivering clear, insightful reports.

 

Essential requirements

1.     Minimum of 7+ years of agency experience as a PR senior account executive/manager

2.     Fluency in Arabic and English, and excellent writing skills

3.     Ability to develop great ppt slideshows and develop visually compelling proposals

4.     Microsoft Office suite + Photoshop skills or similar

5.     Familiarity with social media analytics and digital PR tools

Notes about the position and application process

-         This is a hybrid position, where physical presence is required 2-3 days/week in-office or at client meetings.

-         Working hours are from 9:30am – 5:30pm Sundays through Thursdays.

-         Responding to client emergencies after working hours and working on weekends is required when needed, and ability to travel is essential.

-         Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit an evaluation assignment pre-interview.
