Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 basic + R3 000 – R5 000 commission
A nationally established property group with a significant footprint across South Africa is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their Gauteng team.
The successful candidate will manage a Gauteng-based portfolio of approximately 250 long-term residential properties. This is a full-time, on-site role based in either their Midrand or Centurion offices.
The Role
This is a comprehensive property management position covering all aspects of portfolio management. You will take full ownership of your portfolio, ensuring landlords and tenants receive consistent, professional service while maintaining compliance and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Full management of a long-term residential portfolio
- Liaising with landlords and tenants on a daily basis
- Handling maintenance queries and coordinating contractors
- Managing lease agreements, renewals and terminations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation
- Deposit reconciliations and handovers
- Maintaining accurate portfolio records using PayProp
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a residential property portfolio independently
- Strong understanding of South African residential property legislation
- Experience using PayProp (highly advantageous)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in Midrand or Centurion
