Property & Maintenance Manager – Commercial Property | Cape Town

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment are looking for an experienced and hands-on Property & Maintenance Manager to join a dynamic property group in Cape Town.

About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational performance of a portfolio of properties. You will ensure buildings are well-maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently while managing contractors and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties
• Manage contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams
• Ensure all buildings are compliant with health and safety regulations
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Manage maintenance budgets and cost control
• Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and projects
• Ensure minimal disruption to tenants and operations
• Maintain accurate records and reporting

Requirements

• Previous experience in property or facilities management
• Strong technical and maintenance knowledge
• Experience managing contractors and service providers
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good financial and budget management ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
