Project Manager – Libya Project
For our large-scale, high-standard superstructure project newly commencing in Libya, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will lead the project from mobilization through completion, ensuring successful delivery in terms of quality, schedule, cost, safety, and client satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Overall Project Management
• Lead the overall execution of the project in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Manage project objectives related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies.
2. Contract Administration
• Ensure full compliance with contract requirements.
• Manage contractual correspondence, claims, and change orders.
• Monitor project risks and contractual obligations.
3. Team Leadership
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Coordinate all departments including construction, technical office, procurement, planning, QA/QC, HSE, and design.
• Establish a high-performance project culture.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain effective communication with Employer, Consultant, and authorities.
• Lead progress meetings and executive presentations.
• Ensure high client satisfaction throughout the project.
5. Financial & Commercial Management
• Monitor project budget and cash flow.
• Review cost reports and financial performance.
• Ensure efficient utilization of project resources.
6. Reporting
• Report project status to senior management.
• Monitor project KPIs.
• Develop corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in large-scale superstructure projects.
• At least 10 years in senior project management roles.
• Strong leadership and contract management experience.
• International project experience preferred.
• Experience in large-scale, high-standard superstructure projects (hotels, shopping malls, hospitals, mixed-use developments, commercial complexes, residential towers, etc.)
• Fluent English is mandatory.
