Job Title:
Project Manager – Horticulture / Landscaping
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related project management roles
Job Purpose:
To plan, execute, and manage landscaping and horticultural projects from start to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage landscaping and horticultural projects (e.g. gardens, estates, commercial sites)
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Supervise on-site teams, contractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and management
Monitor project progress and prepare reports
Manage procurement of plants, materials, and equipment
Identify and resolve project risks and challenges
Ensure proper maintenance plans are implemented post-installation
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, or Project Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscaping/horticulture projects
Strong knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques
Project management skills (planning, budgeting, scheduling)
Ability to manage teams and multiple sites
Good communication and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license

Combination of office and outdoor/site work
May require travel between project sites

Knowledge of tender processe
Contract length: 24 months
Salary: Up to R30 000,00 per month
