Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager based in Burundi East Africa. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all phases of construction and project workflows, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources. Additionally, the role involves monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, addressing any project-related issues, and maintaining effective communication with clients and all stakeholders. The Project Manager will also oversee expediting and logistics-related activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Experiance in Hydro power Project (Civil) & Installation of the Steel pipes of a diameter between 2m to 1.8m .Length 3.2 Km(Mechanical)
  • Proficiency in Project Management and planning, with strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience in Expediting and Expeditor roles to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
  • Skills in Inspection processes to guarantee compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Expertise in Logistics Management for coordinating the transportation of materials and equipment efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proven experience in the construction industry or related fields is highly beneficial
  • Relevant certifications in project management (such as PMP or equivalent) or a background in engineering or construction management are advantageous
