SUMMARY:
Role Purpose
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a six-month contract to lead a regulatory and compliance project. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and stakeholder manager who can independently drive a project from initiation through to completion. This person must be confident working across multiple departments, coordinating deliverables, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment between business, compliance, and project objectives.
The role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage project momentum in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project from initiation to closure
- Manage end-to-end project delivery
- Define and document project scope
- Develop and maintain project plans
- Coordinate project activities across multiple departments
- Track tasks, actions, milestones, and dependencies
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure delivery against agreed timelines
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and engagement
- Prepare and present project status updates
- Report on progress, risks, issues, and blockers to relevant stakeholders
- Schedule and lead project meetings, workshops, and check-ins
- Ensure clear accountability for deliverables across workstreams
- Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues where necessary
- Support decision-making through structured reporting and communication
- Monitor project governance and adherence to timelines
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date
- Drive collaboration between business, compliance, and operational teams
- Support implementation readiness and delivery coordination
- Ensure project outcomes align with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Perform other project management duties relevant to the scale and complexity of the project
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements
Critical
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience
- Proven experience managing projects independently from start to finish
- Strong stakeholder communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience coordinating multiple departments or cross-functional teams on one project
- Strong reporting, follow-up, and execution management capability
- Ability to manage deadlines, risks, actions, and dependencies effectively
- Strong organisational and communication skills
Advantageous
- Business analysis experience

- Experience within the insurance industry
