J.R. Boehlke is a full-service asphalt, concrete, landscape, and snow contractor founded in 1996. The company works closely with property owners and managers to preserve the quality, safety, and appearance of commercial and residential properties throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
We are seeking an entry-level Project Manager with a strong interest in landscaping, concrete, asphalt, and snow removal operations and sales. The right individual for this role will be a self-starter interested in learning more about estimating, selling, and managing commercial and residential construction projects and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
· Meeting with existing and potential clients to perform on-site property surveys and consultations for landscaping, concrete, asphalt, and snow removal opportunities.
· Performing take-offs and material estimates.
· Developing proposals and estimates.

- Developing proposals and estimates. Communicating project solutions effectively to clients, addressing their needs and showcasing our value proposition.
- Following up on leads and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Planning and overseeing projects and internal crew schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Coordinating with our Operations Supervisor, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns during the project lifecycle.
- Assisting operations team with project execution, including performing tasks such as delivering materials or equipment or other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Interest in the outdoor services and construction industries.
- Willingness to learn and grow in your career.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-orientated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
