As our operations continue to expand internationally, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Benghazi, supporting the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects on the ground.

Role Purpose

As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring that scope, programme, cost, quality and safety objectives are achieved. You will act as the key point of coordination between clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams, translating strategy into effective execution on site.

You will play a critical role in managing risk, driving decision-making, and maintaining control across technical, contractual and commercial aspects of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and control projects from pre-contract through to construction and completion, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, programme and budget.
  • Lead project coordination across design, procurement and construction, managing consultants, contractors and stakeholders throughout all stages.
  • Monitor and update project programmes, cost plans and risk registers, proactively managing changes, delays and potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, contractual requirements and applicable local and international regulations.
  • Prepare and manage tender and contractual documentation, supporting procurement strategies, tender evaluation and contractor appointment.
  • Undertake the role of the Engineer under FIDIC contracts where applicable and administer contracts accordingly.
  • Provide site supervision and inspections, ensuring works are executed in line with approved designs, specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and deliver clear progress reports, presentations and recommendations for clients and senior stakeholders.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Degree in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering; a Master’s degree is an asset.
  • Proven experience delivering complex or large-scale projects across pre- and post-contract stages with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of construction delivery, FIDIC contracts, quality assurance and site safety.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Microsoft Office or equivalent project management tools.
  • Strong planning, organisational and reporting skills, with the ability to manage pressure and make informed decisions.
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
