Responsibilities

Architecture:

Develop, plan and execute architectural projects, and building designs with construction requirements

Create and present design proposals based on client needs.

Conduct meetings with clients to identify and comprehend project requirements, providing advisory services and generating innovative ideas.

Produce detailed blueprints, making necessary corrections and modifications.

Quantity Surveying

Preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents.

Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms.

Managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions.

Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management and cost-saving measures.

Understanding the client requirements and quantities take off as per marking and RCP drawings.

Preparing BOQ (bill of quantities) by studying specification sheets from the sales team.

Identifying gaps between BOQ and drawings, specifications and conditions of the contract and taking it for a logical closure.

Monitor and control costs throughout the project, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Participation in the pre-tendering activities with client, and project managers and raising relevant pre-bid queries from the given tender.

Job Requirements

B.Sc Degree in Architecture or its equivalent

5+ years of relevant experience in a similar job role is a must.

Proven working experience as an architect

Must have site supervision and project management experience

Strong portfolio to prove artistic skill

Proficiency in cost estimation and cost management techniques.

Knowledge of service guidelines, such as the National Building Code (NBC), ANSI/ASHRAE for HVAC, and LEED for green buildings.

Competency in Autocad, 3Ds Max, Revit, Sketch up, Lumion, and any other relevant software

Design skills and knowledge of building and construction are a must

Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

NOTE: Ability to handle Bill of Quantities (BOQ) is a major advantage
