Programme and Supply Chain Coordinator Jobs in Red Sea State, Sudan at UN Volunteers Arab States

Title: Programme and Supply Chain Coordinator

Company: UN Volunteers Arab States

Location: Red Sea State, Sudan

National UNV Assignment – El Fula, Sudan

Context

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) operates in over 170 countries, supporting efforts to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities, and strengthen resilience. In Sudan, UNDP serves as a key development integrator, advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through programmes focused on governance, peacebuilding, socio‑economic recovery, climate resilience, and access to energy and essential services. Within the current crisis, UNDP also acts as the interim Principal Recipient (PR) for Global Fund HIV, TB, and COVID‑19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) grants, while supporting malaria interventions. Since April 2023, conflict has severely disrupted health systems, particularly in Kordofan, creating access constraints, displacement, and service delivery gaps. To strengthen field oversight and ensure continuity of critical health services, UNDP is expanding its presence by deploying a Programme and Supply Chain Coordinator based in Al‑Fulah, providing regional coordination across Kordofan states.

  • Coordinate planning, implementation, and oversight of TB, HIV, and malaria programmes across Kordofan.
  • Participate in coordination platforms, technical working groups, and partner forums.

  • Monitor implementing partners and support mapping of service providers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including forecasting, logistics, storage, and last‑mile distribution.
  • Support data collection, validation, and reporting through systems such as DHIS2 and LMIS.
  • Monitor supply chain performance, identify risks (delays, losses, diversion), and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical and operational reports to support decision‑making.

  • Master’s degree in public health, health sciences, management, social sciences, or related fields.
