We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex transformation initiatives within Transactional Services. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and operations—driving strategic change and ensuring measurable outcomes across multiple workstreams.

You’ll act as the single point of accountability for programme delivery, translating business strategy into executable plans while managing stakeholders, risks, and benefits realisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Programme Delivery & Execution

  • Own and drive delivery of enterprise-scale programmes across business, IT, operations, risk, and compliance
  • Build and maintain programme roadmaps, milestones, and critical paths
  • Ensure delivery aligns to scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards
  • Coordinate across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models

Stakeholder & Executive Management

  • Engage senior stakeholders across Transactional Services, IT, Finance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Deliver clear, concise updates to Exco, SteerCo, and executive leadership
  • Manage escalations, dependencies, and key decision forums
  • Influence across complex environments without direct authority

Governance, Risk & Control

  • Implement robust programme governance (RAID logs, reporting, controls)
  • Identify and mitigate delivery, operational, and regulatory risks
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks

Financial & Benefits Management

  • Manage programme budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
  • Drive benefits realisation, including cost savings and operational efficiencies
  • Support business case development and investment decisions

Change & Delivery Enablement

  • Lead structured change management and adoption strategies
  • Drive alignment across multiple delivery teams and vendors
  • Enable collaboration across business and technology functions

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale programmes in banking or financial services
  • Strong exposure to:
  • Transactional Services
  • Payments / Cash Management
  • Core Banking environments
  • Experience managing multi-workstream, multi-vendor programmes
  • Strong executive engagement and governance experience

Core Skills

  • Programme delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models
  • Strong financial management and benefits tracking
  • Advanced risk, issue, and dependency management
  • High-quality executive communication and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Commerce, or related)

  • ITIL 4 Foundation
