Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects within a program of work.
  • Develop program’s integrated plan, budget and scope and identify interdependencies between different workstreams.
  • Define program governance arrangement win accordance to the PMO governance and delivery frameworks.
  • Direct and coach the project managers to ensure alignment to the program’s vision.
  • Report to the steering committee on the overall program progress, risks and issues.
  • Manage vendors and external program stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the outcomes.
  • Oversee the day to day program activities and resolve any conflicts.
  • Engage through contract negotiations and be responsible for translating requirements into operational plans, seeking buy-in across all stakeholder groups.
  • Continuously benchmark program management performance with the support of the PMO to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in the delivery.
  • Manage interdependencies between the program projects and other related projects.
  • Ensure all projects resource requirements are fulfilled.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Proven experience with Custom Applications Development and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent communications, influence, negotiation and leadership skills
  • Significant stakeholder and relationship management at different levels.
  • Strong vendor management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Server, MS SharePoint, Jira, ..etc).
  • Resilient and be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with ability to lead teams in this.
  • Results-oriented, out-of-the-box, problem solver.
  • Exposure to different technologies and integration between systems and applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience in procurement and tendering.
  • Experience in different project delivery methodologies from waterfall to Lean/Agile.
  • Understanding the systems and operations of Government is a plus.
  • Previous experience in delivering large complex projects in public sector is a plus

Requirements / Certifications

  • B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in program and projects management.
  • Certified in Program and /or Project management (PgMP/MSP and/or PMP) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in leading programs and projects.
