Are you passionate about Electronics manufacturing and testing? Join our team as a Production Technician and play a key role in ensuring product quality and efficiency across our production lines.
🔹Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and troubleshooting on test fixtures and signal related test equipment as below:
-Satellite signal generators
-Video Pattern generators
-Multiplexers cards
-Switching units
-Signal amplifiers
-PC with windows 10 and higher
-Oscilloscopes
-Multimeter
- Handle breakdowns, maintenance, and changeovers tasks to minimize downtime.
- Execute and maintain checklists, inspection procedures and daily record keeping.
- Ensure compliance with OQC (Outgoing Quality Control) on products manufactured at SKYBLU.
- Ensuring verification and calibration is up to date on all test equipment being used.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using the Microsoft package.
- Ensure line setup/startup and operational readiness before production runs.
- Continuously monitor production quality and testing fixtures and escalate issues when required.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure plant uptime is at its optimum.
- Support smooth production changeovers to and breakdown resolution to meet production targets in coordination with the team.
🔹What We’re Looking For:
- Matric/ Grade 12.
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
- Experience in PCB/TV testing or electronics manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in low voltage digital and communication signals.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to follow structured processes and checklists.
- Team player with attention to detail.
- Exposure to satellite and terrestrial signals.
- Understanding printed circuit board schematics.
- Having the ability to read wiring diagram and relate it to its physical form.
- Knowledge of TV’s functions.
- Knowledge of Set top Boxes functions or similar devices.
- The ability to use measuring tools to perform daily tasks.
- The ability to use power tools to perform daily tasks.
- Having the ability to multitask with various tasks.
- Having the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Work independently without supervision.

- The candidate will be required to work extra hours, night shift and weekends based on customer requirements.
