SUMMARY:
A manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to oversee production output, plant efficiencies, SHE compliance, quality control, stock management, and labour coordination within a production plant environment. The successful candidate will ensure safe and efficient plant operations, supervise production teams, maintain housekeeping standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Previous supervisory experience in a production, manufacturing, or plant environment
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of SHE and quality standards
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage production teams and shift operations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientated with high working standards
- Ability to train and mentor operators and production staff
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
