Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor based in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations within our production facility, ensuring that processes align with company standards. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating team activities, monitoring quality, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The Supervisor will also ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations while maintaining clear communication with team members and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activities across two production areas
  • Supervise and guide production operators in the correct use of all equipment
  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and hygiene protocols
  • Monitor and maintain daily production logs, batch records, and raw material usage
  • Conduct and document daily equipment cleaning and sanitation checks
  • Coordinate with the warehouse keeper to ensure raw material availability and stock accuracy
  • Submit daily production reports and flag any issues directly to management
  • Train new operators and maintain consistent quality and safety standards on the floor

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment
  • Experience in the production of nut-based products, spreads, or similar food categories is strongly preferred — familiarity with roasting, grinding, and paste/filling processes is a significant advantage
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Solid working knowledge of GMP and food safety standards
  • Hands-on and practical — comfortable on the production floor, not just behind a desk
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to report clearly to ownership
  • Organized, reliable, and able to take initiative without micromanagement
  • HACCP certification or formal food safety training is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage operation where processes are still being established
