Position based in Mandeni North of Stanger
Production / Planning
- Liaise with planning department regarding production plans.
- Ensure all departments plans are achieved on a daily basis.
- Manage production scrap – minimize wastage.
Management of Jobs/Employees/ HR Matters/ Health & Safety
- Responsible for a complete understanding of the job, verbal or written
- Ensuring that each job site and department is visited daily to monitor progress, quality, safety, cleanliness and security
- Ensure job schedules, order of materials is maintained by all departments
- Manage both perm and temporary employment service employees
- Ensure all weekly payroll requirements are submitted to payroll timeously.
- Ensure all employees are attired with their uniforms and PPE’s.
- Manage stock take process in all departments and deadlines are achieved.
- Inform human resources of any HR related incidents or matters to be actioned.
- Ensure health and safety is maintained in the workplace.
- Prepare departments for stock take and manage the process.
- Prepared to work beyond normal working hours or on weekends to meet production demands.
Supervision
- Ensuring compliance with all company rules, policies
- Supervising department supervisors and employees
