POSITION: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (THREE MONTHS CONTRACT, RE-ADVERTISEMENT)
PAY GRADE: B4

Key Job Responsibilities:
■To perform equipment and area preparation and related procedures for pre and post production process to facilitate venom ■To perform raw materials dispensing in order to supply primary production with raw materials for anti-venom processing ■ To prepare and operate various equipment (autoclaves, cleaning machines etc.) for use in the production department ■ To conduct pressure testing, label and package final filled ampoules in order for them to be distributed ■ To dispose waste correctly in order to adhere to good housekeeping rules and GMP and maintain a safe work environment ■ To monitor raw materials consumables inventory in order to facilitate the packaging process ■ To process production requisitions, follow up and advice Production Manager of delivery dates ■ To carry out any reasonable assigned duty in line with the scope of work ■
Minimum requirements & key competencies:
■ Grade 12 ■ 1-2 years pharmaceutical/production experience ■ 1-yaer aseptic environment experience ■Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ■ Production equipment ■ Knowledge of aseptic techniques ■ Online procurement module, e, g Oracle (Desirable) ■ Attention to detail ■ Communication skills ■Application of SOPs ■ Computer literate (Desirable).
