Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Owner based in the Johannesburg or Cape Town, with options for partial remote work. We are looking for a Product Owner to help build, test, and optimize our digital products. Ideal candidates should be excited using AI to develop and test functional prototypes and data analysis to ship better products faster. You will work closely with Engineering and Growth teams to take ideas from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development & Delivery
- Support the definition and execution of product features from ideation to launch
- Use AI tools to quickly prototype new product ideas, flows, and features
- Validate concepts early through UX testing and user feedback
- Help manage the product backlog and sprint planning
2. Product Optimisation & Experimentation
- Use analytics tools to track product performance and user behaviour
- Design and run A/B tests to improve conversion, engagement, and retention
- Analyse experiment results and translate them into actionable insights
- Build dashboards and reports to support decision-making
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in software engineering, product, analytics, UX or related fields
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and comfort working with data
- Experience with AI coding, UX testing and product development processes
