Product Management and Data Quality Specialist (Procurement Specialist)

Role Purpose

The Product Management and Data Quality Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing product catalog data for their assigned category, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the product lifecycle. The role supports the commercial performance of the product range by guaranteeing high quality data, effective product listings, correct stock allocation, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Specialist plays a critical role in data governance, product lifecycle management, and operational excellence while acting as a trusted daily point of contact for stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and consistent product data; enforce data standards and quality processes across systems

• Manage product lifecycle, update listings, communicate changes, ensure correct stock allocation, and support promotions

• Prepare data for negotiations, maintain the Negotiation Book, and ensure supplier agreements and contracts are compliant

• Act as the main contact for stores, work closely with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure clear communication

• Analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends and drive product and range improvements

• Support a collaborative culture, contribute to projects, and leverage digital/AI tools to improve efficiency

Qualification and Experience

• Degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Data Management, Retail, or a related field

• Experience in product data management, merchandising, or retail operations (preferred)

• Experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems (e.g., Akeneo or similar)
