Job Description
A leading organisation in the healthcare and medical devices sector is seeking a Product Business Development professional to drive the success of specialised product portfolios across endoscopy, respiratory, infection prevention, and capital equipment solutions. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on market development, product positioning, and enabling high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full product lifecycle, from introduction to phase-out.
Drive product positioning, pricing strategies, and portfolio optimisation.
Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and identify growth opportunities.
Develop and execute marketing plans, campaigns, and product awareness initiatives.
Support sales teams with product training, technical guidance, and customer engagement.
Lead new product launches and drive successful market adoption.
Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and clinical societies.
Support forecasting, tender processes, and commercial execution while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Requirements:
Degree in Medical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Marketing, or an MBA advantageous.
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in medical devices, healthcare marketing, or product management.
Experience with in endoscopy, infection prevention, or capital equipment environments advantageous.
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, procurement environments, and product lifecycle management.
Proven ability to support commercial execution and work closely with sales teams.
Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally.
