Role Overview
We are looking for a Procurement Technical Liaison to maintain clear, accurate communication between the procurement and commercial teams and the on-the-ground QA operation. This role ensures that specification changes, contract amendments, and production milestones are communicated promptly and implemented correctly, and that QA findings are escalated with the right context. This role suits a candidate with procurement or project coordination experience who can bridge effectively between technical operations and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface between the procurement team and site QA operations
- Communicate specification changes, amendments, and technical updates to factory QA managers
- Track production milestones against contract timelines and flag delays
- Coordinate supplier communications on technical and contractual matters
- Ensure technical changes are correctly implemented at production level
- Escalate QA findings and non-conformances to the procurement team with supporting context
- Support the QA/QC Director with procurement-related documentation and correspondence
Requirements
- Background in procurement, supply chain coordination, or technical project management
- Experience in industrial, government, or contract manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and commercial audiences
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and contract documentation
- Organised and capable of managing multiple concurrent production timelines
- Willing to travel regularly between UAE and international manufacturing sites

This role suits a candidate with procurement or project coordination experience who can translate effectively between technical and commercial teams.
This role is based in South Africa. Successful candidates will be required to travel to and deploy at international manufacturing sites as directed. Travel, accommodation, and deployment costs are covered by the employer.
Pay: R30 000,00 – R60 000,00 per month
