An international consultancy company is seeking a Procurement & Supply chain – Management Expert for its building construction, Land and Water Transport Infrastructure project located in East Africa – Rwanda.
Qualifications:
Supply chain- The procurement & supply chain-management expert management should hold: Expert at least a master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Economics a professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent is highly desirable. Additional training in public procurement systems and contract management is an added advantage.
Experience:
The Procurement & Supply Chain Management Expert should demonstrate: A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects (construction, transport, or water sectors). Proven experience in public procurement processes, including tender preparation, bid evaluation, contract award, and contract administration. Strong familiarity with national procurement laws and _ international donor-funded procurement procedures (e.g. World Bank, AfDB, or similar institutions). Demonstrated experience in contract management, supplier performance monitoring, and logistics coordination. Experience in managing complex, multi- stakeholder procurement activities within government or large programs.
