We’re partnering with a well-established enterprise and supplier development fund manager seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead the growth and strategic direction of a digital supplier marketplace platform.

This role combines procurement expertise, stakeholder engagement, and digital platform strategy, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the B-BBEE and supplier development ecosystem.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of a web-based supplier platform designed to connect verified black-owned businesses with a large network of corporate buyers. Leading a small, agile team, you’ll drive platform growth, enhance user engagement, and ensure alignment with enterprise and supplier development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth and adoption of a digital supplier marketplace platform
  • Develop and implement digital strategies to improve access to markets for suppliers and corporate buyers
  • Engage regularly with investors, beneficiaries, and suppliers to strengthen platform participation
  • Design and implement supplier development plans, particularly within the construction sector
  • Track, analyse, and report on platform performance and growth metrics
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to enhance platform functionality and user experience
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee CRM-related activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support broader business initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement, project management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier development
  • Solid knowledge of B-BBEE codes, particularly enterprise & supplier development and preferential procurement
  • Experience working with digital platforms, portals, or CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
