Procurement Chief (Electrical Engineer) – Libya Project
For our large-scale superstructure project in Libya, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Chief (Electrical Engineer) to manage procurement activities related to electrical systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Procurement Planning
• Prepare procurement schedules.
• Coordinate procurement with construction priorities.
2. Supplier & Vendor Management
• Identify qualified suppliers.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
3. Technical Procurement
• Review technical specifications.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project requirements.
4. Coordination
• Coordinate with Design Office, Technical Office, Site Teams, and Planning.
• Monitor delivery schedules and logistics.
5. Reporting
• Track procurement status.
• Report procurement risks and mitigation plans.
Qualifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10–12 years of procurement experience.
• Experience in electrical systems for large projects.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement practices.
• Fluent English.
