About the Role
The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, optimization, and maintenance of manufacturing processes to ensure safe, e;icient, and cost-e;ective production while maintaining high product quality and operational stability
Responsibilities
Process Optimization
- Support development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvement.
- Prepare and update process documentation, work instructions, BOMs, and routing.
- Ensure process stability, efficiency, and repeatability in production operations.
- Support improvement of OEE for critical machines.
Operational Support
- Support production teams in resolving technical and process-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Provide daily technical support to manufacturing operations.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support reduction of waste, scrap, cycle time, and operational costs.
- Assist in value engineering and make-vs-buy evaluations.
- Support cost avoidance initiatives and ROI evaluations.
New Product Introduction
- Support process preparation for new product launches.
- Assist in defining manufacturing methods, tooling requirements, and process flow.
- Support automation and manufacturing technology improvements.
- Ensure smooth transfer from design to production.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track process KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, yield, and cost performance.
- Prepare technical reports and process analysis.
- Identify process risks and recommend improvement actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
