Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in the printing industry? Lebone Paarl Labels are looking for a skilled Printing Estimator to join our dynamic team in Paarl.
Job Purpose:
In this role, you will play a key part in preparing accurate quotations, supporting our sales team, and ensuring projects are priced competitively while maintaining profitability.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Maximise profitability through the delivery of market related pricing proposals.
· Preparations and delivery of Work tickets.
· Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for print jobs.
· Interpret customer specifications and artwork requirements.
· Liaise with Sales and Production to ensure accurate pricing.
· Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
· Ensure quotations are completed accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
· Maintain pricing records and estimation databases..
Skills and Competencies:
· Previous experience as a Printing Estimator within the printing and packaging industry.
· Strong knowledge of flexographic, digital, and finishing processes.
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (advantageous).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
· Grade 12 and up to three years’ experience
· Experience in the printing environment is advantageous.
