Join our dynamic print shop team as a Print Shop Customer Service & Production Associate! In this energetic role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our production floor and customer interactions, ensuring high-quality printing services and exceptional client experiences. You will handle a variety of printing projects, coordinate with clients, and operate a range of printing and manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist customers by providing expert guidance on print options, materials, and finishes to meet their project needs.
- Operate various printing equipment including digital color and black/white and several bindery and cutting machines to produce high-quality prints
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain standards and identify any issues early.
- Support the setup and calibration of printing machines using technical knowledge in color management and print advertising techniques.
- Collaborate with team members on manufacturing tasks to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; operate forklifts when necessary for material handling.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of prepress workflows for digital and traditional printing.
- Proficiency in computer skills and job entry and quotes on printing using our special software.
- Understanding of color management principles to ensure accurate color reproduction across different media.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with printers or related equipment swiftly and effectively.
