Principal Professional Officer – Org Design
Requirements
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably a B Degree
in Commerce, Behavioural Science or Engineering
- Eight (8) years relevant experience inclusive of managerial
experience
- A valid driver’s licence
- Proficiency in MS applications (365 preferred)
Key Performance Areas
- Provide professional organisational design expertise and
support to City Departments
- Lead and drive enterprise-wide organisation design initiatives
and operating model development
- Develop organisation design frameworks, methodologies and
governance mechanisms
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic organisation
design and scenario planning
- Lead organisation design project planning, implementation,
monitoring and reporting
- Drive change management interventions to support
organisational transformation
- Manage stakeholder engagement and consultation processes
across the organisation
- Promote organisation design knowledge management and
communities of practice
- Prepare and present strategic reports and recommendations
to senior forums and stakeholders
- People management
