PRICING ANALYST – SANDTON Jobs in Sandton at Barrett’s Recruitment /Workhouse
Provide support to the organisation by assisting with quotations/proposal using the products defined methods of pricing the group’s different product offerings.
Accurate and timely delivery of new business quotes, risk proposals, and existing scheme renewals within agreed turnaround times, pertaining to both book
rated and claims rated quotations.
Tracking new existing tasks meeting deadlines and reporting timeously to management
Understanding of Risk benefits and actuarial assumptions
Analyse and report on various price monitoring aspects
Ensure electronic filing is updated regularly.
Updating the quotations register timeously for new and existing schemes.
Capture and analyse claims experience.
Manage stakeholder escalations appropriately and timeously.
Engaging Reinsurers and Underwriters as and when required.
Assist at times with ad-hoc projects not within the portfolio
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Maintain up to date knowledge of local markets and industry sectors
Develop/initiate process improvement
Ability to take initiative to address situations
Bachelor’s Degree in Data, Statistics, Financial, Actuarial Science or similar
Min 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar role – Life insurance
