Role Overview
The PMO Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management
standards, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and aligning initiatives with
EYouth’s strategic objectives. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and
stakeholder management skills to drive efficiency and impact across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) and its operations.
- Oversee and drive operational performance across Project Managers, Portfolio
- Managers, M&E lead, and the Marketing team to ensure alignment and execution
- excellence.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management frameworks,
- tools, and methodologies.
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across multiple
- initiatives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Support project managers with guidance, coaching, and best practices.
- Align project portfolio with organizational strategy and priorities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure proper documentation, governance, and compliance across all projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the PMO.
- Engage the stakeholders, coordinate with the partners, government bodies, and
- international organizations to foster strong relationships and secure new
- opportunities.
Requirements & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management.
- Proven experience in leading a PMO or managing multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or
- Hybrid).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in NGOs, EdTech, or youth-focused organizations is a plus.
