Summary of Position
A Plastic Injection Mold Operator at Canik USA is responsible for operating and adjusting injection molding machines to produce plastic parts that meet specific quality standards. The role involves inspecting parts for defects, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and performing routine maintenance on the machines. Operators must also document production processes and machine settings, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing standards. Success in this position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with injection molding processes.
Responsibilities
· Operating and adjusting the machines according to the work instructions
· Connecting and replacing the molds to the machine in accordance with the work instructions
· Preparing raw materials, paints and additives in accordance with the work instructions and loading them into the machine
· To follow the production processes and report to the supervisor.
· To detect problems when production errors occur and to notify the supervisor immediately

· At least a vocational high school diploma
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently as well as with a team; "hands on" as necessary.
· Capable of operating in an evolving and often unstructured environment.
· Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly.
· Excellent attention to detail.
Working Conditions
Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of light manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and normal manufacturing equipment. No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
