Plant Cleaner – Secunda Jobs in Secunda, Mpumalanga at Exsquizit solutions
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage and/or processing locations.
- Efficiently handle, stack, and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances to Production Supervisor.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number (bar-code) and type of product is handled, loaded, and shipped/transported. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
- Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trucks (rail or road).
- Maintain the equipment, work area and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment as the case may be before commencement of duty.
- Perform a safety inspection, identify, note, and report all Class A & B hazards
- Work/operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods/Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse/plant.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Comply with OHSA and client standards.
