Job Description
Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain overall and detailed project schedules (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning)
- Establish and manage schedules for one of the work packages, including all internal and external interfaces
- Identify critical paths, key milestones and major constraints
- Regularly update schedules based on actual progress and project decisions
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Collect progress updates from engineering teams, contractors and suppliers
- Analyze schedule deviations and propose mitigation or recovery actions
- Prepare periodic planning reports (weekly and monthly) for project management
- Support internal and partner project reviews with clear planning deliverables
Coordination & Interfaces
- Work closely with Project Control, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Operations teams
- Ensure schedule interface consistency between new satellite developments and existing facilities
- Contribute to schedule risk analysis and scenario planning to optimize project timelines
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s level preferred)
- Proven experience in planning for offshore Oil & Gas projects, ideally in deepwater or ultra-deepwater environments
- Experience with subsea developments (SPS, SURF, tie-backs) is a strong asset
- International project experience required, preferably in Africa
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6 mandatory; MS Project is a plus)
- Solid understanding of EPC / EPCI project execution cycles
- Ability to manage complex, multi-interface schedules
- Good awareness of contractual and offshore operational constraints
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to schedule risks
- Effective communication in multicultural environments
Languages
- Professional level in English is mandatory
- French and/or Portuguese are an advantage
