Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our new healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs, utilizing your strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Develop individualized care plans that align with patient goals and medical requirements, including discharge planning and progress tracking.
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, exercise programs, and modalities tailored to each patient’s condition.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment techniques, injury prevention strategies, and self-care practices to support recovery at home or in the community.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in outpatient physiotherapy practices.
- Strong background in care planning for orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Hands-on experience with physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies.
- Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and the principles of patient-centered care. Pay: $47.35 – $65.00 per hour
