Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced pharmacist to join our team. This role involves verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, managing inventory, and participating in non-sterile compounding. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a supportive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
- Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and support technicians
- Participate in the preparation of non-sterile compounded medications
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and DEA regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality control records
- Support training, process improvements, and team development
- Collaborate with leadership on service and workflow enhancements
Qualifications
- Active Texas pharmacist license
- Willing to obtain Florida and Tennessee licenses within 90 days
- 2+ years of pharmacy experience (compounding experience a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team-oriented setting
