Staff Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) – No Weekends

Job Summary
We are a newly opening independent pharmacy in Pittsburgh seeking a motivated and patient-focused Licensed Pharmacist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a low-volume, patient-centered environment with no weekends and strong work-life balance.
Candidates interested in growing into or serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) are encouraged to apply. Support and guidance will be provided by remote Pharmacist.

Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, including standards set by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
- Maintain inventory and proper medication storage
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
PIC Responsibilities (if applicable)
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
- Maintain controlled substance records and security
- Ensure readiness for inspections and audits
- Supervise staff and maintain workflow efficiency
- Implement pharmacy policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to take on PIC responsibilities (training/support available)
