Responsibilities
The EMEA region continues to expand and integrate, as a result South Africa market is in the emergence of projects that will require PGRE to collaborate with the business and develop execution strategies for the regional pipeline.
On average, South Africa manages over 30 initiatives across the year with different types of assets, totaling approximately million square feet and over $15 million in expenditures across supply chain, R&D, office, and corporate sectors.
This role will be closely involved in the strategy and implementation of the new PGRE regional model including Strategy, Lease, Transaction, Project and Facilities Management.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with international stakeholders, developing processes, procedures, and KPIs, and serving as a liaison to ensure successful execution of PGRE’s international supply chain and workplace projects.
The role will also oversee the relationship and provide guidance to regional partners execution, including C&W and Colliers.
Accountabilities:
Develop the vision and strategy for the the region over the next 3-5 years
Provide and manage pipeline for Offices, R&D, Food and Beverages projects, Interact with PRGE and local BU’s, develop program strategy
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, provide monthly executive updaes and dashboards & dynamic communications to help the business better understand the project process & governance to ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project.
Track and report the ROI of products/projects
Develop asset baseline, support on implementing PGRE regional structure and team
Partner with Finance and Procurement on regional / global initiatives
Track and Report project KPIs and Metrics, with emphasis on WOW and PEP+ goals
Ensuring strategic partners manage project budgets and execution appropriately (Act Like Owners)
Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
Managing and utilizing resources across projects
Proactively communicate roadmap, milestones and outcomes for all real estate project deliverables to partners and stakeholders
Assure compliance with Pepsi Co’s governance, process and procedures
Work with Strategic partners (, Colliers and C&W) and assure they meet KPI standards
Qualifications
Experience
Skilled in Lease, Transactoin, Project and Facility Management
Mastery of financial modeling
Experience implementing a workplace strategy on corporate global real estate projects
Professional Certification
Professional certification: MCR / PMP / LEED / Preferred
Education
MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
BA / BS required
Key Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management
Ability to navigate periods of pressure and balance priorities/workload throughout the project duration due to tight deadlines
Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience managing a culturally diverse groups.
Strong project management skills; track record of overseeing a portfolio of transformation projects.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Flexibility in adjusting & reprioritizing to meet changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
