PC QC Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated, quick-thinking, tech-savvy technician to join our Assembly team. The ideal candidate would need to be able to assemble desktop PCs, upgrade kits, and mini-PCs in a timely manner, while having a keen eye for attention to detail when it comes to cable management, Water-cooling, aRGB Lighting & air-cooling solutions.

You will need to have a deep understanding of Windows & Linux installations, optimisations and benchmarking. You will also be required to work closely with the other individual team members and expand your knowledge base around our fields of expertise.

Salary: Market-related plus KPA bonus

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or similar
• Relevant IT products and industry knowledge
• Experience with software Operating Systems (Windows, Android, Linux, et cetera)
• 3 – 5 years experience in the IT Industry
• A+ Certification

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembling of Desktops, mini-PCs & upgrade kits to PCBuilder standards
• Install Windows, Linux & Android onto Custom Desktops & Mini-PC’s
• Injection & Activation of Windows licence keys
• Benchmarking and reporting on assemblies done
• Optimisation of both Windows & Linux installations
• Fault finding and diagnostics of faulty PC components
