We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage payroll processes with precision, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in payroll administration, with advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of payroll compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and within required deadlines.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, benefits, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to manage, analyze, and report on payroll data.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and patterns within payroll data to support informed decision-making.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond to employee payroll-related queries and provide excellent internal customer service.
- Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist minimum 3 (three) years or in a similar payroll administration role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret payroll data and identify trends or irregularities.
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and payroll best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
