About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our TES (Temporary Employment Services) team. The successful candidate will assist with processing multiple payrolls, primarily on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate and timely payment of temporary and contract employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and process weekly payroll information for multiple client payrolls.
  • Verify timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data.
  • Ensure accurate calculations of wages, overtime, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and documentation.
  • Assist with payroll queries from employees and clients.
  • Generate payroll reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant labour legislation.
  • Support the payroll team with administrative duties and month-end processes.

Requirements

  • Previous payroll or payroll administration experience preferred.
  • Experience processing high-volume payrolls is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
