SA – Gauteng, Johannesburg CBDR 12 000 – R 15 000 Our client in Turffontein is looking for a Part Storeman to join their team
Minimum requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Parts Storeman in a panel beating or motor vehicle workshop environment
Proven working knowledge of body repair parts — makes, models, OEM vs aftermarket
Experience using TMS Teamwork for parts processing and job allocation is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Outlook
Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret repair orders, job cards, and parts requisitions
Sound knowledge of parts suppliers in the Gauteng market
Valid South African
Must be immediately available
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, inspect, and capture incoming parts deliveries accurately on TMS Teamwork
Issue parts to technicians against active repair orders and job cards
Maintain an organised, clean, and correctly labelled parts store at all times
Process and manage parts orders using TMS Teamwork and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Liaise with parts suppliers, couriers, and assessors for procurement and returns
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as required
Process credits, returns, and warranty claims on incorrect or damaged parts
Ensure all parts documentation (delivery notes, invoices, job allocations) is filed correctly
Report shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues to workshop management promptly
Support estimators and foremen with parts availability queries and lead times
